Workshop

Myrto’s studio, part-workshop and part-showroom, is situated in the heart of the Unesco protected Old Town of Corfu, along the coastal road and near the Asian Art Museum. It is housed in a historical listed building parts of which originate in the 17th century.
In the studio a visitor can experience a quick tour of the workshop. You can also get an understanding of how this primal making process can turn earth into a finished, usable yet sculptural, unique object.
In the showroom, there is a selection of one-of-a-kind pieces for sale. Myrto pays attention to create a very delicate and elaborate finish to her pieces, and therefore has a limited production in quantity.

The studio produces mainly utilitarian objects (lead free and dishwasher safe) varying from tableware such as plates and bowls, cups and mugs, serving platters and salad bowls, lamps, soap dishes, vases, carafes, tea pots, milk jugs and more. The studio produces customised (monogrammed) bowls and platters ideal for wedding presents or special gifts.
There is also a limited production of purely sculptural pieces.

The studio currently is not able to provide wholesale items to retailers and shops, with very few exceptions.

The future plans of the studio include organising occasional workshops and seminars and an international residency program for ceramicists, artists, sculptors and designers.
